Devon Indoor Rowing Champs
RESULTS
The Devon Indoor Rowing Championships is an annual event organised and supported by Fitness Matters. Entrants of all ages and abilities are invited to enter. This year’s event will run virtually again following the success of the last few years.
The Devon Indoor Rowing Champs will run virtually and offer races over 5k, 1k, 4 mins and 2 mins
Exact medal categories will be finalised after the closing date of 30th September 2023 and and will reflect entry levels. Last year’s categories are listed below as a guide.
EVENTS:
5000M
U50 HWT Men, O50 HWT Men, LWT Men, Open Women.
1000m
U50 HWT Men, O50 HWT Men, LWT Men, Open Women.
KIDS EVENTS
4 minutes – years 7 – 11
2 minutes – years 6 and below
HOW DOES IT WORK?
This year is a virtual indoor rowing race/event, open to all ages and abilities. The ErgRace app which is available on both Android and iOS will be used. This does mean that you will need a PM5 to enter as this has the bluetooth function required. You will also need to make sure you have the latest firmware installed on the PM5 and a stable internet connections as races will be live.

Participants row the 5000m/1000m/4 minutes/2 minutes at a location convenient to you. Please keep screenshots for verification, along with proof of weight if applicable.
Races are grouped in age group and weight categories and medals will be awarded in age categories for the winners.
Date : October 7th 2023 ~ 10 am – 2pm.
Location: The comfort of your own home, gym or rowing club.
